Hello! I’m A.J. I’m part of Team Tyler. It’s almost time for the August 4th primary, which means Tyler and the team are working around the clock to talk to voters before election day. Just this week, the team has contacted almost 4,000 voters in the community and plan to talk to thousands more before the primary on August 4th. Tyler wants to talk to as many residents of the 83rd as he can, but he also recognizes the importance of keeping safe in this incredibly unusual election year. He and our amazing team of volunteers and canvassers have been taking every precaution, being sure to always wear masks and keep a safe distance away from people when they’re out knocking doors. Hi there! My name is Claire, and I am the volunteer coordinator for State Representative Trish Gunby’s re-election campaign. Last November, Team Trish successfully flipped House District 99 from red to blue in a special election, and now Trish is running to keep her seat! Since November, Trish has been accessible and transparent with constituents by holding four town hall meetings across the district. With the outbreak of COVID-19, Trish has helped hundreds of constituents with issues of unemployment during these unprecedented times. Hey there, Team Tishaura! My name is Matt, and along with Ranen, we are the volunteer coordinators for Tishaura’s re-election campaign. There are some very exciting updates about the campaign that we’d like to share with you all today! In the past week or so, Tishaura has been endorsed by U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley. As well, we announced that in the last quarter, we had over 300 individual donations! Hi, I’m Megan, and I’ve been helping out on the Clean Missouri campaign! We’re so excited about all the support we’ve seen for Clean lately. Even though Clean Missouri passed in 2018 by an overwhelming margin, it’s under attack again by the state legislature, which means we need to work even harder this year to protect it. The campaign has been holding virtual events and town hall meetings so that folks can ask questions and learn more about our work and how to get involved, and it’s been so wonderful to see so many faces on screen that are committed to fair maps and representation for all Missourians.
