Tonight's the night! We've been tip-toeing around the office, making sure our intern Camille has no idea about her surprise graduation party. We want to give her a fantastic send-off, and we'd love for you to join us.

Enjoy light refreshments with us this evening at 5:30 p.m., and find out what Camille has learned during her time with us. Click the link below to RSVP or for additional details, and we hope to see you soon!

MOPC has big plans for the summer ahead, and we'll be looking for hard-working and driven individuals to help us do the work. If you have an interest in the political process, we encourage you to reach out and get involved!

Interns with us will gain firsthand and extensive knowledge of campaign processes, from fundraising to fieldwork and beyond. To apply, contact Rosetta Okohson at the link below. Please include a resume and cover letter explaining why you want to work with us.

Both Matt Sain and Paula Brown have had a phenomenal first year in the capitol. Let's celebrate the end of session - and this pair of seat-flippers - with a proper party!

Join us in Jefferson City on May 8th for a chance to chat with Matt and Paula. We'll be at Prison Brews on 250 Ash Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Don't miss your chance to show your support for two of the House's newest progressive voices, and to learn about their plans for the months to come.

Learn How to Change the World

Every day, more and more women are becoming involved in politics in a critical way - by running for office. VoteRunLead has made it their mission to equip women with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in electoral politics. Even more importantly, VRL empowers women to run campaigns that reflect their own passions, ideas, and values. In short, to run as they are.

We at MOPC are proud to announce that our own Rosetta Okohson will be offering her skills and knowledge at VRL's 2019 National Training, right here in St. Louis Missouri! A day-long workshop for women who want to run, and support other women who want to run, #RunAsYouAre 2019 will take place on May 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Deaconess Center for Well-Being.

Join us as we work for a new generation of women leaders: for more information, or to purchase tickets for next month's workshop, click the link below!

Don't Throw Away Your Shot!

History will have its eyes on May 22, as we join Treasurer Tishaura O. Jones for a karaoke event that you won't want to miss! Join us at 2643 Cherokee Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as we raise a glass to freedom, the hit musical Hamilton, and the future of St. Louis!

Be sure to break out the powdered wigs and frock coats - cosplay is encouraged, but not required.
